Leotlela

Originally from Bloemfontein, Tlotliso is a sprinter who matriculated from TuksSport High School in 2016.  He was the youngest athlete to represent South Africa at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Post school, he attended the University of Pretoria and earned a Bachelor degree in Information Science.

Jingqi

Viwe is a sprinter who hails from Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape.  She joined the programme in 2020 and became Head Girl of TuksSport High School in 2022.  In 2022 she broke a 40 year sprint record and now holds the following records:

Thobile &
Thulisile Amon

Originally from an orphanage in Middelburg in Gauteng, the twins Thobile and Thulisile matriculated from TuksSport High School in 2018. They are middle distance and cross-country specialists.  Post school, on the strength of their athletics, they received scholarships to attend Monroe College in the Bronx NY where they were awarded associate degrees in human services, and thereafter attended New Mexico State University to study for Bachelor Degrees in Social Work.

Sekgodiso

Originally from Medingen in Limpopo, 13-year-old Prudence joined TuksSport High School in 2016 having never been formally coached.  Since matriculating in 2021 she has gone from strength to strength as an 800m specialist, and now ranks amongst the top 5 women in the world in this discipline. She is currently studying a Higher Certificate in Communication Practices at Tshwane University of Technology. Prudence was a 800m finalist in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
